  • Work with manager or different designated representatives in the company, to formulate and document business requirements of the company. 

  • Apply the “Khoja-Durrani-Scott” health-informatics tool, method, term and strategy analysis framework to research, identify, investigate and analyse business procedures, potential or current company customer groups and tools and methods to be applied. 

  • Research and analyse future development orientations and strategies of the organisation, taking risk factors, related laws and regulations into consideration.

  • Prepare an entity-relationship representation of these data to serve as a potential implementable solution to collecting this data in a more meaningful and re-usable format.

Work alongside professors from the computer science department and Wenzhou-Kean science & technology club to:

  • Data Loading Improvement - An apprenticeship project cooperated with Australian health-informatics company GeHCo that optimized Melbourne hospital morbidity data loading algorithms from spreadsheet to E-R database, completed in May 2020.

  • Need Help – A proposed functional, data and development requirements document solution for a mobile application that helps people decide whether they need to call for an ambulance, completed in Nov 2018.

  • Underbool temporary hospital web architecture – A proposed telehealth network architecture solution for a simulated temporary hospital at Underbool, Victoria, located in a remote place of Australia, completed in May 2018.

  • Gene alignment project – A project involving gene sequence alignment using Python and corresponding bioinformatics libraries, completed in Apr 2018.

  • Adverse drug reaction detection model training – A proposed machine learning model trained using Python and weka, completed in Nov 2017.

  • Edible Me – A proposed food recommendation Java SE system by calculating nutrition compositions as well as calorie intake requirements, completed in May 2017.

  • Proposed Chinese EMR – A proposed full-stack (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP and MySQL) EMR solution for a regional China (Wenzhou, Zhejiang), completed in May 2016. 

  • Genus Tend App – A Java SE biological application that predicts change of numbers as gene frequencies change in a certain species of creatures, completed in Mar 2016.
